Rough night thus far for the USA women in hockey. Taken them a long time to get rolling. So much sloppy passing and bad clearing early. Looking better later, but given how strong Canada is, might be too little too late.
 
Damn, where's that pressure been for the whole game? If the USA had played all game like they did the last 5 minutes of the 3rd period...

Ms Schiffrin has opened herself up, she seems a little dumbfounded as to what has happened, but she has conducted herself with such class and dignity, a wonderful example for all.

Phew!! US made it close right at the end, showed no quit when down 3-0. Kept the streak of 1 goal difference alive. They should be proud; course I'm ecstatic that the Canadian women won.

It was the first time that the team leading after 2 periods, won. A very disappointing loss. US had a 22-5 shot advantage after going down 3-0. But congrats to the Canadians! They deserved to win.

Agreed and I've always like her but she was defeated before her slalom run. Her interview where she said she kept replaying her ski outs in her mind goes completely opposite what a great coach would tell her to do. Easy for me to say but she should have been replaying her greatest runs.
