Winter Olympics Watch...

My wife and I love the winter Olympics, and we never watch any other sports on TV. Other than the summer Olympics.

If you wanna stream it, a Peacock subscription is only $5/mo with ads. Peacock also has Yellowstone. :)

Hahaha about Curling @Canuck from Kansas ! (Of course! You might be the only one here who loves that event.)
I love the short track too and the ice skating. Not much for the summer Olympics but i do love the Winter Olympics. I need to bone up and find out some of the characters of these Olympians. I loved it when there were athletes with stories like (off the top of my head) Mark Spitz, Bode Miller, Tomba, Tanya Harding, Apollo Ono, Simone Biles, etc. Much like how i like to watch the NFL.
I'm totally into curling...you should be able to weight the stone with cans of beer...

And womens hockey...Go USA!

Hahaha! I know i stand corrected!

I just hope everyone stays safe and healthy.
Can you imagine what's in the water they are pumping in and using for snow? When you watch the freestyle jump the area is surrounded by industrial plants shut down for the Olympics. Cr, Hg, As...finely misted onto a hillside.

Did you see that kid (15 yo) from Russia in women's figure skating? Leagues better than any of the other skaters in all categories. The only other skaters that could give her a run are from her country. She does lots of quadruples. But she is human, she missed one jump in her freeskate during team competition.

Bummed that Mikaela Shiffrin did not finish her first race. Was hoping she'd bring home lots of medals (mostly gold).

Pretty cool that the speedskater from the Netherlands took home gold in her fifth Olympics.

I DID watch the young Russian skater this last night @Bruce Baker. She’s amazing. I can’t believe she is only 15 and has so much grace on the ice. I also watched the girls and guys snowboarders slope. What i find boring is the downhill skiing. Unless they fall or mess up all the skiers runs looks the same to me because i can’t tell who is faster. I quit watching that after awhile.

What’s funny is i never care about which country is winning medals really, though it would be nice if it’s the Americans. I root for whoever is best. If i took the time to know more about the personalities i might.

I’m not watching live. My problem with watching is i went and DVRd all the sports i like and it’s so confusing to figure out the order and i’ve got duplicates now. I want to see Shaun White but need to check when he’s on.

For some odd reason I just can't get up to watching this year. I used to enjoy down hill skiing. But other that that I just don't watch.

I wish the home town kid could have grabbed a slopestyle podium. In other news, according to the announcer HR is a Portland suburb.

Bummer for Shiffrin in the GS.

What's the deal with the stickers on the cheeks/faces of women's biathlon competitors (on USA channel now)? Only thing I can think of is to prevent too much rubbing from the sunglasses.

It is bitterly cold there. Protects from that...
