Alright, here's the scoop

This is diversionary shipping/buying at its finest. Costco hides who they are and backchannel buys units/lots from unsuspecting good faith oriented companies like Winston and boom, they show up like this. Community goes in uproar, dealers line up with tar and feather...."how could they"

I'll tell you why, cause Costco is dirty.

This happened to Far Bank/Sage as well as Simms a few years ago. Costco aint all 1.50 hot dogs and samples, this is dirty ass shit that undermines a companies commitment to dealers and typical sales channels

I confirmed this with Winston and they're fuggin pissed off
 
Bend, Oregon..gave one a good wag (butt planted firmly against plexus, rod horizontal, whip side to side to judge action per Doug Mateo as the only proper way to do so..lol)..liked it, definitely has some power in it.

No warranty? Now that would be a kick in the ass to someone who bought one and tried to submit for a warranty
 
When they ask where purchased from and you write or type In Costco this does the invalidation of warranty?

Yes this has happened with sage. Remember Z-Axis were being sold like 300 below retail too and there was another time and different sage rod but forget.
 
Since there is no warranty, maybe they’ll sweeten the deal by throwing in two Puget Sound humpies from the seafood section with every purchase.
