Why I always shop away from home (indicators)

So, I know I have a "problem" with tackle and gear... And I know I am not alone, no judgement here.

That being said, I try and hit up different sporting good, tackle shops, and brewery's/distillery when not in my home state.

Here was the find this trip, I don't think I will get a chance to go to the actual business this trip - Buda Texas, but I will be hitting up a few more stores.

$0.99 a package (I know my are smaller than @Irafly but they work for me)

This is exactly how I ended up finding these indicators in the first place. After that I rabbit holed to find Floats Unlimited. Comal would not sell directly to me the 10 or so years ago I originally found them.

Once upon a time I visited a shop on Vancouver Island, they had this neat bagged white fur hanging from a peg, I picked up a couple of bags and took them to the cash register, got out my Canadian money; said not a word. The cashier looked at me and said "oh, you know, you can't take this across the border".

So true, I have the same issues.
I am the same when I travel anywhere. If I see a fly shop I always stop in just to check it out, maybe buy a shirt or hat (I have hat issues also). Sometimes you score something cool, at the very least you can talk fishing, support a fly shop and sometimes learn about some new water to fish in the future.
