Reminds me of a grammatical quip I learned while stationed in England in the 1980s.

An American officer had been assigned to a British service school and after a rather long stretch of travel arrived at the campus having to desperately pee. Walking along an abandoned hallway, the American officer encountered a sharply dressed British officer briskly stepping down the hallway. He engaged the Brit with the question: “I really need to pee, can you tell me where the restroom is at?” Sir, we call it a loo and you never finish a sentence with a preposition. The American officer, not wanting to make that mistake again rephrased the question: “Sir, I really need to pee, can you tell me where the loo is at asshole.”
