Spawn Fly Fish has a nice shank assortment for those interested. Lot's of smaller stuff with different size wires. These are some articulated bucktail rainbows tied with a shank out front:View attachment 174I love olive chartreuse in belly of these blended to a darker head...

So, I’m still an Uber new fly tyer…these are literally the 20th flies I’ve tied…so far.

I’ve learned a couple things that’s making it easier…the hand vacuum is your friend…starting to get the knack on thread tension on the bobbin…half hitch at the right place is a fly saver…still learning as I go…
