What is the body material, on that beautiful fly? I dig that mottled look especially for damsels/dragons. Im thinking it is maybe a Light Olive and a Dark Olive, Ostrich Herl twisted together?

The body is a new material for me that I bought from JStockard:

I like this material! This fly with the red bead uses the 4mm fiber length:

And a couple of the usual hares ears reduced to compare.

Sort of a dragonfly nymph. Green marabou tail, Semperfli camo chenille in body (4mm rear, 8mm front, non lead wraps under front) partridge and hen collars.

I might have called this fly a "Six Pack" but Carey works too. Great looking fly!

I tie the Six Pac/Carey with yellow pheasant rump. Great pattern for the seep lakes or any lake I have fished.

Bottom left is my favorite too, funny enough it was the first of the batch. Bottom right was the last, and I think it’s the only one I wouldn’t have confidence in the water with haha
