Couple shrimpy ones I just tied in a van down by the river hoping I get a brief window of semi - OK water to fish some dirty, soft inside edges before the next deluge starts on Sunday and everything's fully blown out for who knows how long.

Do you folks that fish boobies put a pupil in the foam with a black marker, or leave it at is?

I tie my "airhead" streamer slightly differently ( using regular flat sheet foam) but the design always includes an eye. Fishes exactly like a booby..

Hey @Zak,

What is the body material, on that beautiful fly? I dig that mottled look especially for damsels/dragons. Im thinking it is maybe a Light Olive and a Dark Olive, Ostrich Herl twisted together?
