Rene Harrop's Soft Hackle Thorax Bead is an attractor pattern that can imitate a range of emerging aquatic insects. The bead thorax adds weight to keep the fly low and in the feeding zone. Nymph it, swing it, and even slow strip it at the peak of a hatch.

QUICK TIE HEX
Unlike most Hex patterns, this is a very easy not complex recipe. Each fly only takes a few minutes to complete.
Allegedly it is a "cripple". It does catch fish.
