Playing around with flaming the head; need a bit more practice.

hook - WFC Model 3 #12
thread - SemperFli 8/0 tan
shuck - Starburst dubbing tan
rib - xsmall wire gold
body - bleached hare’s ear dubbing
hackle - ginger
shoulder - sharptail grouse
wing - bleached elk hair

These flashy Kreelex or flashabou clousers worked well for coho last year, so adding a few more to the box for this coming summer.

It should be interesting to see how the fish react to it. I wanted something super buoyant. I need to get some white heads and go to town with some permanent markers on these.
I tied it up based on a previous experience with bull trout taking topwaters on a river I plan to visit again in June. The follows and explosions are great, but like most topwater patterns the attempted takes to hook-up ratio sucks. Its like 13.68% on my last trip. :ROFLMAO:
