I’ve also been tying some tuna flies in prep for Sept. 23. Some of @Nick Clayton’s Youtube Specials and a few on tubes as well. Maybe I’ll add some stingers too because why not? GF was amused when I left the drugstore with a handful of sparkly nail polish to paint up the Spawn heads.

Are you adding any weight to the shanks?

Always had trouble tying curb feelers. Spinning deer hair over the thread holding down the foam and getting said hair into the correct shape was really challenging for me. Finally getting something off the vise that I think will fish well; 10 more or so and I might be decent at this pattern. This color and purple with orange foam are great patterns for my local haunt.
