The shoulder feather looked good coming off the pelt but it just didn’t want to lay properly; took a hairdryer to it before I spun the head which helped a bit.

Made a fly with my soon to be 4 year old. He picked all the materials. He ran the dubbing spinner, dubbing brush, rotary vice and UV light.
My favorite type of flies to tie. Poppers for bass are a ton of fun, I let my daughter color up the foam heads, then I epoxy them, and then she also helps tie in the rest.
