Here's a picture of the same flies in natural light rather than that LED bleached out first picture:


The body is FTD's KRAP Brownish, tail is rabbit strip, brown(ish). I hope to wet one of them this week.

Thought I would broaden my horizons…
First one in the vise.

1/4 oz Pearl Jig Hook
Fluorescent Red Thread body (1/2 shank back n forth 4 times)
Shrimp Pink Marabou tail (one feather)
Shell Pink inner collar (two feathers)
Fluorescent Apricot outer collar (two feathers)
Thread collar (desired thickness and wrap count to fill in)
Whip Finish and Head Cement.

Tying these up for next winter unicorn season at a local coastal river.

Thanks. In this instance the white is ep crustaceous brush. All the others are stacked Congo hair (kinda like tying a kinky muddler). I like the Congo hair much better as it’s easier to get the density and shape you want.
