That 20 minute (sometimes an hour!) winter BWO hatch is the best fishing on the D—no matter the season.

Oh, I agree, which is why I frustrate myself trying to tie these. I think I’m going to pre-tie some on a leader spool so I’m not trying to tie them on with cold hands in low light

Cowboy up and tie them tiny flies with two wraps and a half hitch.
