What are you watching?

We watched the Butler from 2013 release date on Prime… and it is a wonderful film. To be honest much that we watch are what we have seen before and we both share forgetting what we have watched works out. I have enjoyed rewatching the Sherlock series with Cumberbatch on masterpiece theater. we agree violent depictions are just not our thing so channel changing keeps av input interesting. ;)

Backtracking on prime to”Elementary” started in 2013 ran 7 seasons , stars Lucy Liu, jonny Lee Miller and Aiden Quinn. I am a huge Sherlock Holmes fan .watch everything. This is the first time the characters and acting do not convey some affected caricatures of Sherlock and Watson, it is really great. 3 episodes tonight and a total of 7 seasons . We are stoked.

Dark Winds on Netflix. It's a collaboration from GRR Martin and Robert Redford, with some of the cast from Reservation Dogs, set on the Navajo/Dine reservation. My wife and I are loving it!

On YouTube I watched 2 guys paddle down the Hood River in the Arctic 300 kilometers to the Arctic Ocean. About 2 days of that would have been the adventure of a lifetime but 20 days? Holy crap! The fishing was unreal in the upper sections using spinning rods and spoons, I can imagine what it would have been like with fly rods. About 3 hours and 48 minutes long as I recall, I watched the whole thing

Can you share the link to the video?

I wish I could but am too computer illiterate to do that. Try Googling '300 kilometer fishing, camping and surviving the extreme Arctic wilderness'. Ted Baird is the principal author.

We are out at our son's for a while more. He had never seen the Cumberbatch Sherlock and for some reason wife and I hadn't seen Series 4. Just wrapped up them up last night. Open to suggestions for something comparable. We too are put off by violence instead of clever plot but son requires more action than your basic BBC comfy murder mystery.

We are watching another Watson and Holmes series from 2013 on Prime called “Elementary” we are on season 4 of it. Different approach than the Cumberbach series but equally intriguing
