If there's any Samurai Jack fans out there, you'd probably like Blue Eye Samurai on Netflix. Good animation!

Damn if you fall off the paddle board into the reef, uff, that's some nasty wounds right there, miles from nowhere. That's whole 'nother level!
a highly effective jack learned from the locals when surfing in Tahiti and rolled the reef..cut a lime (lemons don't work) in half, and scrub the reef rash...it bubbles and turns the weeping mess black, seals it, heals quickly without infection. Not that it helped with the resultant scars on shoulder and shins...lol

Last night watched 'Born in Chicago' on FreeVee, a documentary about the 60's Chicago blues scene narrated by Dan Akroyd, diving into the background of the Chicago Blues and how young admirers Paul Butterfield and Mike Bloomfield were embraced by the likes of Howlin Wolf, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, etc, learning the chops and licks that led to the Paul Butterfield Blues Band and Electric Flag, bringing blues to a young white audience and providing the older blues musicians with the national stage and financial success they never dreamed of...good stuff.

Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates Jr. on Public Broadcasting. Everyone wants to know their family secrets, no? BTW, FreeVee is a very good streaming site.

We have watched all of them over 3 years. Jeanne is the family Ancestry.com person. I got an unconnected 2nd-3rd cousin link request. But that is up to Her to sort out. Our families have all taken dna tests. Fascinating stuff as long as I do not have to do the research… ;)

While not for everyone, I enjoy history especially American history. Having spent a number of years down South, Black history interests me. I just watched a documentary on '761st Tank Battalion - The Original Black Panthers' on the History Channel.

Quite interesting and enlightening, to me at least...

Well I thought I had seen all these promos for it . The hype for this quirky movie. So watched most of Asteroid City and it annoyed me. Great visually with visual puns and astounding acidic color even scenes with lighting that conveyed pixelated 50’s comic book textures and stills throughout. Double entendre’s inside movie and acting puns , a broad cast of characters and familiar actors. But I did not enjoy it. Sure the actors probably had a lot of fun with it. But it does not mean All will ride along with the tongue in cheek silliness. Went from meh! To asinine in about 30 minutes. Style over substance

Rebel Moon, new scifi movie on Netflix. It starts out pretty well!

Gets dark quick, though.
