This had popped up in my feed too... Jazz guitarist, educator, and TV personality Joe Negri who spent 32 years with (Fred) Mr Rogers' as "Handyman Negri", and owner of "Negri's Music Shop" when Rogers presented musical guests passed away at the age of 99 on May 30, 2026, 11 days before his 100th birthday.
BTW Mr Rogers, was quite a musician and composer himself, and frequently had top artists on his show.

And Yo-Yo Ma (This video is a memorial to Mr Negri by WQED in Pittsburg that produced Mr Rogers' Neighborhood for Public Television. From the beginning, it portrays a wonderful man, and a great guitarist who used his talent to benefit children and aspiring jazz musicians)
This was the type of excellence we could see on Mr Rogers when I was growing up. It is probably a big reason I like the music I do.
