broadway musicals
There are few things I despise in this world more than musicals. I avoided watching Slumdog Millionaire for years because I thought it was a musical. :ROFLMAO:
I imagine that the first person to come up with the idea said something to the effect of "Hey folks, what if we take a perfectly good story and ruin it every ten minutes?"

I have never seen Slumdog Millionaire. I judged it by the title sounded like a B movie bad failed comedy. I know the story line though.in our world the punchline for every joke or movie is partial public knowledge before we run off to a theater to see it

I typically always watch the Best Picture Oscar winners. My girlfriend at the time suggested that we watch it because she hadn't seen it in a while. I was "no way. You know I hate musicals." She gave me a WTF look and asked me where I got that idea. I had seen a clip of the end of the film where the cast was doing this choreographed dance thing and made the assumption. I'm glad I finally watched it. Great film.
