What are you listening to?

Ok in the vein of Pink Floyd….have you ever listened to Easy Star All Stars and Dub Side of the Moon?

My brother turned me on to it. A complete tribute album to Dark Side of the Moon….. reggae

Never really been into paradies. Actually saw the DSOTM tour in 74 and listened to it a bunch then have not for decades but I am a collector so there is that…
 
While I know there are a lot of music lovers in this thread, only a very few if any will sit through this hour plus interview with Neil Schon. But I found it fascinating and have actually watched it twice start to finish. I don't play and have no idea what they are talking about when they nerd out on gear but for me it's an insight into what it is exactly that makes some music GREAT, and some just good.

Hopefully he told the story of buying his first new car as a teenage member of Santana...he has a lot of good stories. But yeah I watch plenty of these about artists, gear, studio/producing, songwriting, etc that contribute to music.

Currently, Rick Rubin has a couple of podcasts well worth a listen. I'd say start with Broken Record and pull up anyone interesting. Daryl Hall, Jack White and Paul Stanley (skip G Simmons btw) are recent samples I thought were good.
