Uh, oh, more thread drift. I finished reading Robbie Robertson's "Testimony, a Memoir" a few days ago. The book put Robertson's song writing in a timeline that I wasn't familiar with and described how the band members would trade places/instruments. Here's one with Richard Manual playing drums:

Bought my youngest daughter a grt electric guitar a large Fender tube amp in about 1998, about 6 months after that and a couple years of lessons she played me this song … you betcha I got teary eyed… she still has her guitars but does not pick them up often… science is leading her journey and making her money and more than I ever saw in my career as the only exhibit designer…always considered this and meddle my PF faves… dsotm is great one but it is a lot of polish and little on the progressive side
