What are you listening to?

The song cracked me up when it was released shortly after I completed a rather long 6 month USAF integrated fighter weapons control systems (including RADAR - an acronym for Radio Detection And Ranging) avionics school.
Singin' to myself while working flightline graveyard shift something like...

I've been drivin' all night, my hands wet on the wheel
There's a voice in my head that drives my heel
Job Control callin' sayin', "I need you here"
And it's a half past four and I'm shiftin' gears
The scope is broken and the mission’s coming up.
Aligned the plugs so it fits like a glove.
Won't need to scrub at all

We've got a thing that's called radar love
We've got a wave in the air
Radar love

Thanks for that … I have a new appreciation for the song. I have to say I did not serve I was a 1-H college deferred student .I was in the last draft and drew a #312. In truth I was not attuned to the meaning of lyrics then…the song had great hooks and lyrics rhymed… ;)

Yup, but to me the lyrics are a rather amusing translation of Dutch thought to the English language.
