What Are You Eating?

I like leftover steak…hence why I cook more than I can eat at one meal…
Doesn't heating up leftover steak cause it to be over done?

I wanted to take some BBQ steak on my June fishing trip. So I put it on the BBQ and left it for half the usual time, taking it off before it was even rare, for doneness. Froze 'em and put 'em in my cooler. In camp I put them in the frying pan and finished them to medium rare. They weren't bad, but not the same as doing it in one step on the BBQ.
 
I make cold steak sammiches, and also slice thin and eat cold on a big garden salad.
Both are fine uses for leftover steak.
Used to easily put away a 16 oz New York at home, but these days it's a 2 day and a lunch deal...Given the price of beef especially.

If I go out, then eat the whole damn thing
Don't go out much.
