What Are You Eating?

Salmon or Lake Trout steaks approx 2" thick
3 slits per side deep enough to cover a Juniper berry
Insert a Juniper berry into each slit
Cover with maple syrup
Refrigerate overnight
In a.m. flip & recoat with syrup
Refrigerate until ready to grill
High heat to seal both sides
Reduce heat cook to taste
Pop the berries out
Serve over bed of wild rice

You certainly make some unusual dishes.
 
If it takes 2 1/2 hours to make something edible I have a closet full of old sneakers that might interest you.
