Probably chuck it, but you should open it, give it the smell test, maybe taste it.. depends on the temperature of the pantry..

It'd been opened once, 10 years ago, been sitting in a dark corner of the pantry rest of the time..
okay...throw that as far as you can...
For decades I have been drinking one ale a day and that is the extent of my drinking habits. Three or four times a year I will have two but that is usually after a long hot day on the water in summer heat. So I don't have an alcohol problem except that it is hard to find good stuff over here on the Frozen Tundra. And If I do find something different the chances are that it has exceeded it's shelf by months. The ale I had been drinking for years has disappeared since the pandemic so I have been looking for a replacement-a hazardous undertaking. I have bought stuff recommended to me and after tasting one bottle of a sixpack decided it was garbage and thrown the rest away. But in February I think I discovered a new favorite quaffing ale. A neighbor brought me an Elysian Full Contact Hazy IPA with an 8.8% alc./vol content that is really smooth with no bad aftertaste. I think I can be happy with this as my daily driver for a long time to come if it remains available. Good IPA's are not a given and some are simply horrible, I'm happy to find one I like.
When I was in West Yellowstone in September I tried an ale that I believe was called Hippie Hammer. It was superb and if it was sold in a pub nearby I would be a regular!
