I managed to sneak in a decent number of hours on the **hotspot alert** Big C....or at least someplace connected to it. This particular body of water isn't exactly known for large fish but it's pretty dependable for at least having a few shots at feeding fish.
After several of the little 3lbers (small capr are outstanding practice for when targeting bigger fish because they're still spooky, but they tend to eject non food items a little quicker)....anyway, I spotted one of the trophy fish for these waters and after around 30 min, I managed to get it to eat....a whopper at 5.9lbs (yeah, I just had to weigh it)

Always try to get some closeups of the scales just cause I think they look pretty rad...although focus wasn't the best on this...
