SFR Waterproof Phone Case

Sorta fishing-related
My phone is waterproof and has been dunked a few times in fresh and saltwater. S20 Samsung. All my pics posted here are from this phone. I have a basic case to protect against dropping. Then, for protecting against dropping into deep water or over the edge of something - I use a basic tether like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08XZ8WW28/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I primarily use it on my kakak. I have it attached to a retractable cord attached to my seat and I keep it in the pocket under my seat. It can handle a dunk, but just don't want to lose it overboard when taking a pic.

It can handle a dunk,
My IP68 rated S10e I kept in a pouch on my pack strap supposedly could too.
The phone's front and rear cameras had water behind the lenses after being submerged in less than 1' of water (the top of the pack strap and my face never got wet) for an estimated 5-15 seconds.
I'm going to try using a waterproof pouch as recommended by @jaredoconnor that is also what a buddy uses. In testing the pouch I can unlock the phone with a PIN or face recognition and screen manipulation is good. The rear and front camera images, and mic - speaker audio quality are also good. The fingerprint sensor won't work in the pouch but that, along with RX & TX call audio quality are the biggest complaints for the 100% enclosed IPX8 cases.

In the interest of conversation - Way, way back my first cell phone was a small flip Samsung, black and white screen with actual keys. After 9 years I wore the print off the keys and coincidentally learned of color screens  I regretfully decided to "upgrade". Phone still worked even after spending multiple days in my pocket submerged while wet wading the Columbia River. There was no such thing as a case for this type of phone. Addition it survived at least 5 drops on on to concrete for 4' up or better. The sales person said Samsung has a new Tough Phone that looked like it was essentially dipped in rubber. Within three months the flip lid failed.
