Water Master Kodiak boat bottom first impressions

Well I got to try out the Kodiak Boat bottom. I think overall it's a fun piece of kit for the boat and if I did a lot of lake fishing I could see buying one of these myself. There are some downsides I didn't think of which I outline in the vid. The one thing I didn't think about was tromping around in the mud and then getting back in ... then the boat bottom was filled with muddy water till I finally flipped it over and dumped all the water out. Anyone else use one?

I agree, nice review. I've fished out of a pram for years so I too know water and mud collect in the boat. The good folks at Milehighresort.com lease boats, their boats all come with a coffee can and big automotive sponge. I adopted the container and sponge for my pram; It seems that anytime I get into the pram I do track in some grit; I always clean the floor with a sponge before laying down my fly line. If it's raining hard, the sponge works well at bailing the pram.

That's smart, I'll have to add that to my gear. I could also see the upper half of a milk jug too ... though maybe not as durable.
