Watching the snow reports

I've enjoyed the weather resource thread. As a land surveyor I had to know how to dress, and where to schedule work so we would not burn up a bunch of the clients cash. Also loving just spending time outdoors fishing, I've gotten used to reading the forecasts, figuring windows, and using microclimate zones to be able to go out.
I didn't want to stop on top, total whiteout, so I stopped here. A couple hundred yards below 2 small cars and a light pickup were sideways in the road, windows fogged, cold wet girls inside, and unhappy dude's pushing. They had suffered all night and just wanted to get home.

As an old man I now have sense to have to have the correct rig, and enough layers, to get out.

At points it was nice

A copper bead leach has been as good as the orange lately so

I couldn't pick a winner and neither could the fish

Maybe copper was better on the top dropper but really, just stocker fish, and loads of them

At points it got nasty but not a bad time considering what I drove home in

Betting the farm, literally, to grow crops this year, so the moisture is appreciated.
