Wasps nest

Any GOOD ideas on how yo remove this bad boy without losing your life and not having to call the professionals out to do it? I was thinking of high power wasp spray but looking at it further there are only 2 little holes in the bottom of the nest not sure how effective it would be to try it, it is located in the front of the house if i get a high power hose to knock it down after dark I am afraid next morning they will be swarming like crazy when i go back out

If it were my house, I'd go with your first idea: A couple new cans of wasp spray at night. Drench it, soak it. Go take a shower.

I found a wasps nest built between rungs of my aluminum orchard ladder. I made the mistake of spraying it during the day. For several days I had wasps flying around the remnants of the nest (right next to my trailered pram).

Agreed. If you hit it with a good spray at the entrances you won't have to worry about the wasps inside the nest...it's the wasps outside that will go crazy on you. If you wait until last light when they are all in the nest that's your best chance to avoid getting stung.

Get them early in the morning after a cold night and you’ll be fine. The next few days with the forecast for rain will afford an opportunity. Buzzy is right. Get the entrances and soak down the nest.

If they are bold faced hornets, spray it and don’t stop then run, quickly. Shut door and windows.
Don’t ask me how I know this.
Hit it early evening, night while they are in the hive. Have benedryl handy.

A little "liquid courage" never hurts.
Like others have said, spray the heck out of it with the 25' stuff after you know they are all back in the hive. That said, they are most likely Yellowjackets and can sting multiple times without losing their stinger.

No liquid courage during the week I first posted about bush light it was a joke only on the weekends but all is good guys appreciate all you guys Input I will say that spray goes quick though got a little bit left and didn’t even need the ladder it would have sprayed from the ground up to the top no issues. Consider this this case closed
