Wading boots with good arch support

Just Hatched
Just coming off 5 five months of dealing with plantar fascists and I am looking for wading boots that have very good foot support. I have a pair of older Simms Guide boots and they have almost no support. My feet are not liking them and I don't want to go through that again.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Give these Orvis PRO boots a try on! I wore Simms Guide Boots for years but when my last pair wore out I tried these on. Remarkably light but strong boots. Easy to put on and take off and I have to believe they provide the best arch support I’ve ever had in a wading boot.

I use inserts in every shoe I wear after having that affliction. The only time I don't is when I'm in the shower.

I had a pretty bad case of plantar fasciitis, and had to put insoles in all of my shoes, including my wading boots. I use various Superfeet insoles in my street shoes, but found these Powerstep insoles work great in my wading boots. I've had them in for a year or more, and I have no complaints.

Padding is essential with PF, so recommend Google search PF insoles, there are some good ones that offer both thicker padding with gel inserted into the heel section.
And if you haven't hooked up with a good podiatrist, preferably with a biomechanics emphasis, suggest you do. Custom orthotics with a full length neoprene cover can do wonders, it's how I treat my own PF
A friend of mine who had dealt with very painful PF for decades went through PF Release surgery, and it completely resolved the issue
