Not prevent...delay...this is a ridiculous spin...even Obama admitted that JCPOA only delayed the inevitable.

Don't want to get off topic, but of course delay - how do you prevent? You prevent by delay, then extend the agreement, then extend again, and again, etc, that's what treaties do.

This is the website for the nuke plant.
The link goes to the background radiation numbers from sensors around the area.
Expect slow loading, as it's being used a lot right now.

Just saw a segment on the nuclear plant - apparently chances of catastrophe are relatively small, but if there are radiation leaks, the prevailing winds blow it into Russia.

Osirak comes to mind...the government has perfected the art of monitoring things without acting. It's not just steelhead and salmon!

Because he is overreaching.
Biden needs to demand that the Russian government hand over Putin to NATO immediately, immediately pull their forces out of Ukraine including Donbas and Crimea. Immediately withdraw Navy from the black sea and then prepare nuclear sites for inspection and disarmament.

And I mean demand! We cannot allow this to go on for weeks or months.

Yeah but, "politics is the art of the possible." ~Otto Von Bismarck.

Under Article 4, any member state can convene a meeting of NATO members to "consult" when it feels its independence or security are threatened. In practice, it has rarely been used and sends a strong political symbol to the greater world that NATO is concerned about a particular situation.

Article 5 is known as the "one-for-all and all-for-one" article, the keystone of NATO as an organization. It states that an "armed attack" against one member is an attack against all and sets in motion the possibility of collective self-defense.

However, it only commits members to "assist the party or parties so attacked" and to take "such action as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force…." It does not automatically result in military action.

We do whatever they want.. we lose.
I noticed Putin didn't use nukes on DC last night during the SOTU address...
You know, like you said you would have if you were Putin.
:sneaky:
I guess he's not as crazy as some other folks are.
I'm sure we're doing exactly what they want...
😆

We are.. we are staying out of Ukraine.

Also I said. "If I were Putin and I was serious about using nukes"
Either the idea never occurred to Putin or he's not serious about using nukes.
