Putin has backed himself and Russia into a corner, desperate men do desperate things, and this is the man who said when questioned about the use of nukes said "well, if there is no Russia in it, why should there be an earth."
At this point the richest men in Russia who are watching their economy crater and their fortunes and plans along with it are without question having some serious discussions on their options. Hopefully their solution is a 9mm to the back of Putin's head, with an announcement a sudden onset of Covid has taken their 'great' leader.

Ukrainian count of Russian casualties is substantially different:

Moving on here...

Evidently this guy followed up his original offer of one million to point out that if a thousand others joined him, that'd be a billion.
Likely won't come to pass, as a million ain't what it used to be of course, but run it to 20 million or so, and you never know...
These days Russia is in an economic downturn/collapse that will continue for some time...perhaps longer than Putin will be around to see the end of.
;)
It would be great to get Putin out of power but I have to wonder how long the line of scumbags behind him is.:unsure::unsure:

Now I'm using the laughing til I cry emoji properly! That was funny!
maybe a bit 3rd grade... ok not a bit it's a full on 3rd grade insult ehh maybe 4th grade when do kids learn about bladders?

anyway it's a juvenile insult which is about what that two bit dictator with a bounty on his head deserves.

If the line of scumbags were any threat, they would of been removed permanently. You know what I mean.

No real idea who Putin has behind him, but I'd hazard a guess that if in fact Putin is dethroned/removed/forced out that whoever is next will have their hat in their hand re: sanctions, and be pretty concerned about their own future while things shake out.
But that's speculation of course, based on past events. Russia is different, having nukes and all.

Russia is different, having nukes and all.
True, and they're the only nuke-capable country (currently) using that as a bullying tactic to prevent anyone from interfering and as a lever to get whatever they want. At some point, and that point is probably very near, his bluff will have to be called. How much of the earth does everyone else have to give him on a silver platter just because he threatens to use his nukes? How many more cities and countries have to fall....and how many more civilians and children and soldiers have to die before we say "enough is enough. We're done with you. This ends now, right here...?"

I hate the thought of a nuclear war. But when all else is tried (and we're far from trying all else yet), he'll have to be stopped and then we'll see if he's bluffing. Or if he gets taken out by someone with a soul who does't want their children to die too.

Like I've said earlier, it's my view his days are numbered, how he goes I haven't any clue. When the big boys of international finance guys decide you're fucked, you're fucked. It could be years, I'm not privy to anything that isn't OSINT. I have read some opinions that it could be weeks/months, but who knows.

Nukes are what they are, if it goes global I live close enough to the largest stockpile of nuclear weapons in the country that my death will be almost instantaneous, sparing me a long lingering death from radiation.

So I got that going for me, which is nice.
Good times.

German authorities have confiscated the 156-meter yacht of sanctioned Alisher Usmanov, worth about $600 million, Forbes reports.

So it begins...

I'm hoping to have time for a few bottles of wine and some shots.
Lol
Do you all remember four years ago when state government here in Hawaii fucked up and told us there was an incoming nuke from North Korea headed our way? And that it wasn't a drill? They told us it would hit in thirty minutes. People were stuffing their kids down manhole covers. People suffered heart attacks.

I grabbed a bottle of Glenfiddich and my fly rod. As I packed my rod in my rig, I took a healthy swig of scotch and held the bottle up to the sky and said "pour me a tall one honey, looks like we're going to be partying in a half hour."

Then they called the alert off and said it was a mistake. No bomb on the way.

I live pretty close to the entire Pacific Command. That's a major target. So yeah....I already know how I'm leaving this rock if it comes to that.

I do remember that...crazy stuff.
Yeah.. if shit goes south we have zero questions about what's going to happen to us.

To be fair, everyone is scared of my babushka too and for good reason. 😂

Same here.
This is exactly how my Russian grandmother dressed, in wool regardless of the weather.
Driving around town as a kid with my mom, she would point out folks dressed similarly to her mother and say there is someone from the “old country”.
