Tying Light?

Those are great prices at Joann's! I'm using this Ottlite floor lamp beside my little rolltop desk. I picked it up from Facebook Marketplace. Space on my desk is limited so I went with a floor lamp supplement with some led strips under the shelf. The 24W provides nice light for the vice. I removed the magnifier and clip since they unfortunately weren't quite long enough to reach around the side of the desk.

I bought this from Amazon in 2017, bright LED with 3 different temperature mode and adjustable brightness. The arm has crapped out since but the light unit itself is still going strong. I bought another similar lamp and swapped out the light unit to use the new arm.
Pretty happy with this setup.

I agree with the Ott Lights—quality stuff. I am fortunate to have a dedicated spot in a nice cubby hole for my tying (albeit very messy) tying bench. I took a cue from some photography lessons and added additional side lighting to enhance lighting on the vise. An inexpensive LED strip is always from the left and two LED rechargeable puck lights are available on the right. The puck lights really enhance the light on the fly and can be turned on or off as needed. Another advantage of the puck lights is their mobility. When ever I drop something on the floor (its dark down there) I can grab one of the puck lights to help me find the errant item.

As you know I have switched over to STRICTLY natural light. I do have a pic from when I used unnatural, artificial light. I realize that not everybody has a small chicken on their desk.... But it does help if you can find one.
