I have caught fish on the bottom fly, scud or leach.
But I have found that I can catch just as many fish on a single fly than using two flies

Like Ira said I ty my bottom fly to the eyelet of the top fly but sometime I have had all of my fish hooked on the top fly with it sitting sideways from the weight of the bottom fly.

I sure enjoyed fishing with you yesterday. You were definitely the man on the lake yesterday.
Sharing fly info and out catching Steve and I.
We would have never seen those fish without your input.
Hope to see you again on the water soon.

Not all the time but most of the time I’m gonna have a pats rubber leg on my set up. I have had a lot of success with the PRLegs in autumn/fall darkish type colors.

Sure was fun wish we could find more lakes like that on the westside
