Tuna fishermen: 12 Weight TFO-BVK (TFO 12904)

TFO has amazing customer service. I have had to replace sections on a couple of fly rods and the turnaround time is amazingly quick. My favorite estuary cutthroat rod is a 4 weight TFO Mangrove that was only produced in 2013 and I am still able to get parts for it.

TTT - albacore anglers?

Anyone going to fish for tarpon, GT's, albacore........... make an offer.

I think you should come to the swap n shop. We could find it a home ;)

I'm surprised this hasn't sold. BVKs are great rods for the money. I've got 3 of them.

Someone needs this as a back up albacore tuna rod. I've learned from experience not to go out with just one rod - not hard to break one (or two) rods on a tuna trip.

Doug -
I marinated the last loin you gave me - miso marinade (miso, sake, mirin and a little sugar) for hours and then broiled it. It was good fresh out of the oven but even better the next morning as ochazuke. Score some great food, thanks again!!/Pat

Hey Pat,

That sounds delicious! Will DM you to get a recipe. / Doug

Of course it's easy to break rods if your name is @SilverFly and you love high sticking those fish in
