Yep, got one. Pretty much a troll to get additional donations. I'm a lifetime TU member and support what they do, but as an org the use the same tactics as all the other nonprofits to solicit additional $$$.

I haven't been a member for years so I was a bit curious as to why I received this. They probably got a mailing list for potential new members from AARP.

Like what TU does but agree with you regarding their tactics. Probably using the same third party companies that suck up 70% of donation $$$ for a ROI of 15% netting them a tidy profit. Once on one of these thru-the-mail $$$ suction companies inquiry/subscription lists it takes a death certificate to get removed.
The wife is firm believer in one organization and due to that fact approximately 50% of our mail is RfD crap hence she has about 346 years worth of “note pads” stuffed in places within an arms reach.
USPS loves this shit. Keeps the lights on.
