I was casting a 6" leech on a 2/0 for bass and this slob ate my fly. Honestly, didn't fight worth a damn for 22". Came right to the net and rolled over. A little disappointing.
I've seen it a lot with the triploids released from the hatcheries. They have less gusto than a 6" trout in a local Creek.
The 6-in trout would taste a lot better too.
