Grabbed an EzUp on my way to the OP for the first time a dozen or so years ago in February. We had to keep moving it up the gravel bar as it poured for 4 days solid. Owned one ever since.

Hey boys I have the best hair tie for you!

I originally found these hair ties in Rite Aid. They are a fully seamless stretchy rubber ring. They really grip a rod surface and stay on the handle while fishing so I don’t lose them. They also don’t stretch and are very durable. Good for rod storage, hiking, and going to and from the river.

The Redington Tempt (CT) 586 I bought for $60 back in 2012 has surprised the heck out of me! I finally tried it camping with the kids in the Sawtooths this summer. It's definitely my rod of the summer, and it will be missed once the dry fly fishing goes away.

I thought I was the only one using these for fishing.... They're great for keeping rods together. Heck, I've thrown one on a spool of Maxima that was misbehaving, worked great for that too.

PS, if you and your buddy are both drinking the same beer, you can sling yours over your can or bottle to mark it as yours. Bonus!
