My Neighbour likes to fish and i have taken him down the local river and he came on one of my day trips looking for bull trout earlier this year, We have been trying to get another day out but scheduling has been tough until this week when he texted me to say Wednesday he was available to go fishing. So where am i going to take him well i had been telling him about a certain high dessert lake that i had been fishing and he expressed an interest in going. So Wednesday morning off we go and on the way he tells me he has fished this lake a few times but did not catch much. That changed Wednesday as we had a red letter day with both of us landing double didgit numbers and we also lost a few, balanced Leeches, Damsel fly Nymphs and chironomids were the flies that worked and when the wind came up in the afternoon we fished sinking lines with leeches and boobys and both worked, i caught my first fish on a booby lol.
