This just popped up in my news feed. I know a lot of people who are gonna be pissed.

Recreational, commercial salmon fishing canceled for spring season along part of Oregon coast

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife has announced both recreational and commercial salmon fishing seasons for the spring are canceled along parts of the Oregon coast.

I wonder what "alternatives for summer and fall salmon seasons" they have? A trout pond like at the outdoor shows? Carp fishing on the Columbia?

Ok. My reading was the river plus the ocean.

I thought that you may have been saying that those ocean fishermen would be on the river instead, upset about the closure.
