thinking of Dry Falls on Thursday

It seems to be an epidemic…..my right pontoon gets mushy after awhile, I can feel myself listing and compensating with my bad back. No amount of beer or Crown fixes it…..also can’t find any leak.

Hmm. I suspect it may be a slow leak through the valve. Don't recall whether (or not) the valve is replaceable, but if not, perhaps you could try cleaning with it with sone mild hand soap. Another suggestion would be to attempt contacting BDD from the old forum, as I sold another Xstream (with smaller pontoons) to him, and he was in the pontoon boat business.

Thanks Roger, as a matter of fact I have some parts of another green X-stream pontoon you sold to Lue years ago! Not sure but maybe one of the bladders……

I bought this pontoon directly from Sos when he had his shop by the Duwamish river 35+ years ago. The new looking green covers are from you Roger! The gear bags are original faded ones. Best pontoon ever!

Got one 16” brown. Not another bump all day. Worth it to me. 6 boats on the water. Saw 2 other fish caught. The wind was more than I expected. Beautiful day on the water.
And, my pontoon held air!!!
And “vailve” was the word I was looking for g
for in my original post.

Is WDFW still limiting the stocking at DFL? I seem to remember a post a few years ago where someone mentioned that the local biologist decided to reduce the stocking at DFL to make more of a quality/trophy fishery and reduced the number of fished stocked by >50%. Most reports I have seen from DFL is the same, slow for everyone with minimum fish caught but the few caught where large high quality fish, which I don't mind but it seemed like you could still get into some nice fish when the stocking density was greater 10+ years ago.

Stopped at the overlook yesterday on my way back from picking up a trailer in Idaho. Watched through binoculars long enough to see a guy in a john boat battle what had to be a nice fish. Took more than a couple minutes to land but couldn't see the actual size.
