Got to thinking about fishing related things I love, here's where I'm at, top 10:

The crackle of gravel as you pull into a stokeworthy spot

Heading back to the boat launch at last light

The sound of a clicker when a fish takes line

The view of the lake/river from the Ridgeline

A mirror reflection on a lake at first light

The smell of a summer rain in the evening on the river

The sight of rising fish as you're launching

Emerger eats

A good cast landing softly on a calm water

When patience and studying a situation pays off

Thats my list. What's on yours?

I’m sure I could go on and on but this is what I got in no particular order:

- Excitement of the unknown
- Unending challenges
- Getting closer to nature
- Getting crafty
- Strategizing
- Nerding out on Google maps
- Exploring
- Sunrises/Sunsets
- Ikura
- Bro time
- Waking up at ungodly hours and getting a different perspective from the normal grind
- Me time
