The oldest rod you regularly use?

The fly-rods I had in the 90's as a kid/teenager were St. Croix's and Berkley, but they didn't make it out of the decade intact. I'd literally throw the rod in the back of my car or friends truck and drive down to the smallmouth creek or my uncle's pond.

The current rod in the stable that is oldest is a sage LE. I think it's old enough to be considered vintage now. It's caught a lot of trout all over the US.

The rods I used most last year were:

Sage TCR 690/4
Sage RPL 690/2
Original loomis GLX 1086/2
Scott G 906/2 (old school w/ cork cap and ring reel seat)

The scott is the oldest and the TCR is the newest. All are pretty old.

I always end up going with the newer 4 piece Sage or Hardy rods that live in the trunk of my wife's 4runner.

But the rod I think of fishing most often would be the Scott G 903/2 I bought off WFF. It's such a special little rod, and one summer I caught literally hundreds of fish using it. It's probably as old as I am. Every summer I make great plans to use it on a tiny creek somewhere in the desert, and never think to grab it out of the garage. Maybe this year it'll happen.
