The good boat deal thread

Arima's are great fishing boats. sometimes they under power them in my opinion.
it caught lots of fish but not a family day trip boat - again, in my opinion,
great price too

Arimas are fantastic, and that definitely seems like a great deal. Not a big boat, but there aren't many boats in that size range more capable. And for their size they have a very nice dance floor.

One of the benefits of the Arima hull is they just don't require a ton of HP. And they will plane at very slow speeds, which IMO is much more useful than screaming around the sound at high speeds. Personally I feel they perform better with smaller, lighter motors on the back. Arimas are not a boat that likes to have a ton of weight at the stern, and no matter the HP they will never be a speed demon. Just not what they're designed for. They will definitely readjust your spine if you push them too hard in a decent chop, but I never had any issue just slowing down a bit and riding comfortably. Trim tabs are a huge benefit on any Arima to help avoid slapping around in chop with the bow riding high.

If I was in the market for a smaller Puget Sound fishing boat I'd be looking hard at that one for sure.

Man, if I hadn’t recently shelled out a couple grand for a training (drift) boat and then had a second kid…

I saw this and had an internal debate whether I could back a trailer down the stupid curved ramp at the lake. By the time I looked, not long after you posted this, it was already sold. My backs been acting up, and with all the wind this spring it gets tough kicking around more than a couple hours.

I am no expert at backing up a trailer, but that launch is the all time worse, especially since it is often busy.

This could be a good deal for someone looking for a small stable lake platform. Trailer situation is sub optimal. but maybe it works for a livingston? all i know is that this thing probably weighs a ton.

Located in Mt Vernon.

rarely encounter a boat I haven't heard of... Jonzey Whitewater being a new one to me. Clean looking rig for way reasonable.
