This video is a blast from my past. Quintessentially Vermont! I have a cameo, my mom and dad and kids are all in the video, and there's lots of familiar faces. If you are in Vermont in the fall, stop by and buy one of the 1,500 apple pies!

Yum!!! 😋 (slurp)
I gotta get me one of them peelers…as I started makin’ applesauce recently. The two batches I have made were a big hit for Holiday dinners. The peeling was not the best part of the process.

The peelers they have are really cool (and old). Much better than the "Yankee apple peeling gizmo" common online, though those work, too.

Cool area of the world. Have a sister that lives next town over in Putney. Small farm up in the woods that raised a crop of green weedy looking stuff for years, “down out back…” She’d say when I asked how things were. Remember they had Apple Season Festival every September like in the video. I do remember there was a particular food truck owned by a person of color that was permanently parked right off the exit on I-91 that had some damn good barbecue that seemed so out of place that you thought you may have crossed the threshold into the Twilight Zone. Rumor was he had a small farm off a dirt road that may have had a crop of weedy looking stuff also. Probably coincidence. Thanks @Zak for the reminder to call my little sister and see how she’s doing. Appreciate it.
