The Buccaneers have continued their implosion, losing to the Dullfins and a first time starter rookie QB.

After beating the Seahawks and 49ers in back to back weeks in October, they've managed 2 wins since then, against the Cards and Saints.

Not sure if this is unique around the league, but we have a live house band thats very good
and now an off season to ponder, will they use the first pick in the draft on a QB, or trade it for Lamar Jackson if possible, or trade down for more picks to fill more holes, and who will be the new coach at the time of the draft

Mendoza...then a left effing tackle...then a right effing tackle...

Geno is gone for sure...and Pete is not the guy, nor does he want to be, in a total rebuild.

In the early days of cable, it was $10 or $11 a month and zero advertisements, making it a good deal IMO. Now fvcking Netflix and Prime both include ads unless you pay a 50% premium on top of the basic subscription price. Greedy bastards is the natural and logical explanation.
The good old days, right? (from one ancient guy to another)

I think it was shortly after the country went on covid lockdown that Undirectv decided to double my rates at the renewal period. I'd always been able to call them and threaten I was going to drop their (crappy) service unless they lowered the rate back to what I'd been paying. This last time they said "nope, won't do it" so I cancelled my subscription. Since then we've relied on whatever we can stream but mostly we don't watch TV anymore with the exception of a few NHK tv programs* we really enjoy (Trails to Oishi Tokyo, Seasoning the Seasons, 72-Hours). Now we're visiting our daughter in SoCal and the house has "cable" (Spectrum: it SUCKS) and I was able to watch part of the Seahawks game. The commercials. I know it's mostly "me" but I can't watch a game because of the "fvcking" commercials.

I get what's happening with the NFL team standings from this very funny thread.

* There are no commercial interruptions on these streamed Japanese programs.

McDermott goes for 2 when they held the Eagles to like 19 yards in the 2nd half...questionable...especially at home.

Just wasting Allen out in Buffalo.

The new Marv Levy, only can't even get to the big game.
