THUNK! Could lead to Lion's win.

Go Lions...

While my emojis are powerful, my ability to affect NFL games is pretty limited.
Although I do hold my mouth a certain way when it's 3rd and long...and when swinging for Steelhead in winter.
Doesn't always work though...on either of them.
🤣

Thanks to that crazy play at the end of the Steelers/Lions game the Niners have clinched a playoff spot. Now to see if we can snake our way to the 1 seed. That last game with the Hawks is either going to be meaningless or massive!

I wonder if John Harbaugh is on the hot seat.
He’s been there a long time and sometimes the messaging gets stale. He won a Super Bowl, but that was quite a while ago.
With the recent playoff exits and likely no playoffs this year, the owner might start being antsy.

Might be but they have better have a good replacement in mind. (There was the one coach who said you have a 8-10 year period and then it goes stale as you say). Think there is some truth to that.

Where was Henry in the second half ?
Did Harbaugh forget he was on the team ?

Ravens fans are quite upset that they didn't promote Mike Macdonald to HC when they had the chance. They had the perfect heir apparent already on staff and let him walk.

It is great that we do have Mike Macdonald. One of the younger coaches in the league. One of the 'Modern Era'. He has turned around the defense from Bottom 5 to Top 5 in just a year or so... The players are behind him and bought into his 'system'.

He has a great pedigree. It will be fun to watch him continue to transform the team into his vision in the next couple of years too. Hope the offense is a bigger part of that too.

My beloved Patsies played well enough to win last night. After 2 consecutive 4 win seasons they are back in the tourney.

The injuries are piling up for a team wih a very thin roster. Last night the Ravens ran the ball at will on them. The Patsies were without their staartin MLB and their 2 best run stopping DT's. The depth behind those starters is really questionable and they play with light edges. Far more questionable was the Ravens decision to no longer hand the ball to Derrick Henry after going up 11 points. I am still in awe of that bad choice.

Drake Maye played well. He moves in the pocket and keeps his eyes down field as well as I've seen in a long time. He throws the ball as accurately as anyone at all depths. His TD throw to Williams was sublime. My beloved Patsies lucked out by losing to Bufalo on the last day 2 years ago and getting the 3rd pick rather than the 1st. They would have chosen Jayden Daniels wit hte 1st in all likeyhood. I don't think many people would take Daniels over Maye at this point and certainly not Caleb Williams. In fact, you probably have to go back to Burrow and Herbert in 2020 to have QB's drafted that you could justifiably take over Maye at this point.

It's hard to see my beloved Patsies going too far in the playoffs unless they get the #1 seed and a bye. The roster is so thin that they need almost every starter available to play with the best of the best. If they can get the bye and get healthy, I can see them playing well enough defensively that Maye can have a chance to win some games.
