Have I mentioned I hate eastern time...

I slept through most of it, woke up for the second two-point conversion, but fell back asleep after they dropped it ... woke a little later to see that instead of 2 points behind, they were tied, WTF ... must have been a penalty I missed and they retried ... WRONG, backwards pass tipped forward, are you kidding me??? Was able to watch the finish - great game, Sam Bradford, no I mean Darnold (my best Herbstreit impression), finally came through in a big moment.

Congrats Seahawks and their fans...

Go Chiefs
I liked watching football back in Hawaii…this game would have been 2:00 in the afternoon, plenty of time to hit the beach afterwards with the hibachi and surf rod, sitting in a beach chair with a cold one grilling teriyaki chicken watching the sun set…

Current Status:
Biggest Philip Rivers fan in the universe
Biggest Bears fan to ever draw breath
Love the Falcons more than life itself
Cards are my favorite team

Rams have an easier schedule to close out the season than the Hawks, likely the Hawks/Niners end of season game will determine the NFC West.
After watching Darnold last night as well as the porous Rams defense, feeling better about the Niners chances.

I like our chances against the Panthers, but we may be missing some DB's, and nothing is a given here.

A 9rs loss will be just what the doctor ordered, Colts and Bears ... either one is fine with me.

I hope to see you host another...

Ok

Not really...
😁🤣
No one wanted to see me in that condition....

and no, I'm not hosting shit.

Yer setting a pretty low bar...
that low bar has already been set....lol

As long as our best pass rusher and our best corner don't get hurt for the game like SB48 (probably wouldn't have made much of a dif, but still)....

Since the Huskies are done I've changed from purple-n-gold to Seahawk colors, probably until 2-8-26 at least.:)

I didn't get a chance to watch the game.
I just got done watching the highlights.
What a game for the Seahawks, that's going to be an instant classic.
One of the best Thursday night football games in the history of the NFL.

For the Seahawks (12-3) on this December 20, 2025, Saturday, a Green Bay Packers win over the Bears is generally better as it keeps the Bears (10-4) from gaining ground in the NFC, potentially dropping them to the #7 seed, while the Packers (9-4-1) move closer to a Wild Card spot but can't jump Seattle for the top seed, allowing Seattle to focus on securing the #1 NFC seed by winning out or getting help, meaning a Packers win helps Seattle's overall playoff seeding better than a Bears win.

So there it is. AI has determined, after using enough power to light 12 houses in India, that it's best if Green Bay wins today.

I got dime a Christmas present...

Oh, and BTW

Sam Darnold 1st QB in NFL History to win 12 games in back-to-back seasons on TWO different teams.

Not Brady, not Favre, not Manning, not Rodgers, not Stafford....SAM DARNOLD.

I think an interesting bit is that literally half his interceptions are against one team: the Rams.

Also the first game in NFL history when a team scores a td first in OT...and loses...
an absolute outlier of a game in which Stafford played like an MVP while Darnold was anything but.
Hawks won't go the distance if they can't create some better offensive schemes, and Rams won't either if they continue to have a defense that resembles a..

Except Darnold locked in and played elite to bring them back. He didn't miss a beat once they turned it around.

Granted, he wouldn't have needed the heroics if he played cleaner and had better protection for the first three quarters, but when in the pressure cooker, he did exactly what he had to do.

I'd go with clutch, not elite, until he learns to throw the ball away instead of taking the sacks, which has plagued him throughout his career.
But I'll root for him again, as I did in this game, if/when the Hawks and Rams meet up again this year. If it's against the Niners..'hold that damn ball, Sam, hold the ball'

Er...punt return.
