Agreed. After about 10 minutes of sorta watching that game I had to do a search and see how much longer it is until spring training starts. Hard to believe most of those guys are making better than1M a year. And the coaches even more.

Jayden Daniels doesn't need surgery on his elbow and he'll avoid IR for now, AP source says

A person with knowledge of the situation tells The Associated Press that Jayden Daniels did not tear ligaments in his dislocated left elbow and he does not need surgery, so the Washington Commanders will not place the quarterback on injured reserve, at least for now.

From the article ,that incident pretty much derailed his career as far as what his potential might have been . It's hard to imagine over $600 . Kinda tells you the character of the man , pay the $600. It was bad enough he didn't show up for the camp when he said he would ,and then stiffs the guy for $600 .Probably more to why he didn't show up . Of course that's no excuse for breaking someone's jaw .

I find myself in the uncomfortable position of rooting for Aaron Rogers tonight. I have always like Pittsburgh; solid ownership, well run, stable franchise that always puts a competitive team on the field, so I can root for the Steelers in general, just wish it didn't have to include Rogers.

It's a requirement that Seahawks fans are supposed to hate the Steelers, but they've been a lot harder to gate in the Tomlin era vs the Cowher era.
