I wouldn't really put the turnovers squarely on Darnold. One was a bad snap with the new center who came in, one was deflected off a helmet, and one was just plain a good defensive play. Other than the "good defensive play," I'd say any QB would've had the same issues.

They won by 22. This wasn't an ugly win. They pretty much just relaxed and went into cruise control after hanging 35 on them before the half. You could keep the throttle on and tightly execute the game plan... but going conservative, playing some backups, and shelving the scripted game plan is typically a better way to go, which they did this week and last week. Not saying someone couldn't come back from a 35pt deficit, but I think they could've come back and buttoned things up if it seemed like it was going to get out of hand.

I think we're getting so used to blowing teams out by now that we're seeing the other team accomplishing anything at all as a knock against the Seahawks team.
 
100%, Evan. There are no "style" points in the NFL (unlike college football...). A win by one point or by 30 points counts the same in the standings. Once you have the game in hand, your goal should be to minimize the chance of injuries that might impact future games.

was meant as a generalization for all teams..it's what has always separated the pack

Edit: the New Jersey/New York REGION could end up with coaching openings for all three of it's NFL teams, as McDermott couldn't explain today why his team is doing so badly. Maybe because he is a moribund defensive minded coach on a team that needs a dynamic offense focused coach?
Really enjoying the parity this season...tonight's should be fun

Yeah no excuses in Buffalo, he's had his chances and can't seem to get there. The Chefs stood in the way to be sure, but now it's just on the coach. He's got the team he wants...
It's the curse of Marv Levy all over again, all they need is a wide right.
With the Jets it's ownership, Johnson is Jerry Jones with less money and more draft picks, they've proven to be clowns over the past 10 years.

It's not the 6th borough any more than Vancouver WA is in Oregon. NEW JERSEY HAS TWO TEAMS AND NEW YORK HAS ONE
